Academic Assessment

Class I-V

The students are being assessed according to the policy of CCE which is being intended to provide a holistic profile of a learner through assessment of both scholastic and non-scholastic aspects of education.

Detail of Exam:
The student is assessed during three evaluations. Each evaluation consists of two cycles throughout the year, the student will be assessed six times. In each cycle, a student is assessed on the basis of many skills which can be written or oral. The oral skills can be assessed with in the class during teaching – learning process and Monday test or class test can be taken by the teachers.

Rules of exam

  • Orals are conducted regularly and repeatedly during teaching.
  • Written exam: Each subject carries 100 marks including written as well as oral skills.
  •  Activities are conducted during class room – teaching.
  • The policy of “No Detention” will be there.
VI – VIII & IX – X
  1. The students are being assessed according to the policy of CCE, which is intended to provide a holistic profile of scholastic as well as co-scholastic aspects of education.
  2. Weightage of Marks (VI – VIII)

FA1 10% + FA2 10% + SA1 30% = Term I   50%
FA3 10% + FA4 10% + SA2 30% = Term II 50%
SA = Term I + Term II
      = 50% + 50% = 100%

Weightage of Marks (IX – X)

FA1 10% + FA2 10% + SA1 20% = Term I 40%
FA3 10% + FA4 10% + SA2 30% = Term II 60%
SA = Term I + Term II
      = 40% + 60% = 100%
