1. Rangoli making competition under middle and senior category.

INTER HOUSE RANGOLI MAKING COMPETITION

An Inter House Rangoli making competition was held in the school on 29^th of april to commemorate the AWES raising day. It was held under senior and middle category,five students participated from each house under both the categories. Children participated very enthusiastically and made beautiful rangolis.

2.SAHODAYA JAMMU CHAPTER INTER SCHOOL PAINTING COMPETITION

Springdales Hr.Sec.School Barnai organized Sahodahya Jammu Chapter Inter School Painting Competition on 07 May 2019 under the theme ‘ENVIRONMENT’ and sub themes :

CLIMATE CHANGE----- CLASS II-V

3.ESSAY WRITING COMPETITION ORGANISED BY SAMIKSHA : THE SOCIETY FOR PROMOTION OF INCLUSIVE AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT (Regd)

4.  2^ND J & K ROPE SKIPING CHAMPIONSHIP
Army Public School Damana participated in 2^nd J&K Inter School Rope Skipping Championship 2019 held at Baby Caterers Rehari Jammu ,on 25 May 2019 . The School brought laurels by garnering overall 9 gold medals, 2 silver and 3 bronze in the same .Lakshyadeep Sharma VIIIA had secured four medals and was felicitated with the winner Trophy also

5.        IIT BOMBAY- NATIONAL LEVEL WORKSHOP
IIT Workshop was held under the aegis of Harbour Technology in Association with Techjest (IT Bombay) at J K Public School,Jammu on 24-25 May 2019. All the participating schools had worked on Android Application Development Programme. The workshop was about creating Android and the Java apps and the modern technological tools and their uses. The students were given the task to design a layout for SMS sending app and Calculator in which our school team layout was considered the Best . APS Damana brought laurels to the school by bagging first position. Besides our school team was selected to represent our state at the Techfest (IIT Bombay).

      ACCOLADES WON AT 2^nd INDIA OPEN INTERNATIONAL TAEKWONDO OLYMPIC RANKING CHAMPIONSHIP (G1- LEVEL)
Kushagra Sharma of Class X brought laurels in the lap of APS Damana by participating in the just concluded 2nd India Open International Taekwondo Olympic Ranking Championship (G1 Level) held at Gachibowli Indoor Sports Complex, Hyderabad in Telangana. It was for the very first time when Team J&K Teakwondo participated in an Olympic Ranking International Event sanctioned by World Taekwondo with the support of Master Atul Pangotra (International Player/Refree).
